Is this a symbol of the America in economic terms, or just April Fools Day shenanigans? Either way, ECU Sculpture garden is under pressure. Pirates, ARRRGH…. First Down.
My what big eyes you have Mr. Bernanke.
My name is Adam, I'm a photography professor, and I make things. I also edit a photography mag called UntitledCereal which publishes and promotes student photography, and make hand-pulled t-shirts when needed. Check out my online sale of framed photographs, peruse my archived projects, or say hello through email.

John Conway why do you like this?

Several reasons: first it appears as a giant bug turned on its back and provokes an un settling feeling that it could at any time twist itself upright and kick ass; second the idea that a pirate washed up on the Tar river banks after decades of dormancy thinking he is in a battle with the school for mocking his basic immoral values is a scream and finally helicopter Bernanke being attonished that the economy is upside down with the wide eyes (as if just awoken after decades like the depp) is priceless.
