I had to go back an photograph this… the guy on the right was just standing in front of this big purple building. In my car, I sped past the scene only to turn around after a mile. I asked the gentleman on the right if I could photograph him, he didn’t understand and seemed anxious to get inside. The door was locked and he was trying to get up with his friend inside. Soon enough the guy on the left came outside, asked some questions… I told him I was doing a project on Greenville people or something and he allowed me to take the image. I’ll go back next time with a print.

Here’s a blast from the past… I found some old film in our grad office and used it to photograph a quote taken from a pyramid scam website in the studio. I intended for the background to be black and used a zoomed in/upward-panning of the camera to creating the neat streaky effect. Well, come to find out the film had already been shot by some former ECU grads… that’s Ben Lustig in the middle, Aspen Hochhalter on the right and I assume Antonio Martinez is making the image??
I’m really excited about these images. It’s a collision of two moments, two photographers and two separate ideas… this may take some time to deconstruct…
